This fan controller is nice looking, but it doesn't work right with some brands of fans. I've read several people state that it causes some kind of noise with coolermaster fans, and the one I had didn't work at all with my Thermalright Silent-X fans, they wouldn't even spin up unless I manually started the fan with my finger. Although it worked great with my Coolink fans. I ended up returning it.
