Newegg has the NZXT Source 210 S210-001 Black Aluminum Brush / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case for $40 - $8 off with coupon code EMCJHJF73 [Exp 12/19] - $10 rebate [Exp 12/19] = $22 with free shipping. Features a bottom mounted PSU, wire management support, and dual 120mm front intake.
I like it though it's a little too "hole-ly" for my tastes. Now as a budget gamer I suppose you could fill it with an 2500K OC with some double radiator, and GTX 560Ti in SLI and have some need for all the fans this thing can fit, but really? A case of this stature could do if it had the front two fans, maybe one top, and the rear; but two in the top, then the side panel, and a bottom one (that one's here-nor-there as it can be covered with acoustic foam). It’s like a really low cost case for Super High-end Enthusiasts? If I’m filling it with higher-end... do I want a low cost case? Sure some will, but really for what most would fill this with, you’d rather have good air flow without all the openings to let the noise out.
Something’s that also concern me is there are no filters, at least the PSU should, while nothing for the front two either. The front USB/audio just looks super cheap, and the power and reset buttons are wired to the front bezel so it always tethered to the chassis. At least it looks like the USB/audio does have connectors. The other is the old fairly 2003 HHD rack, for a $22 you can’t complain, but when this is turned into their "Elite" it has that same rack (though with screw-less brackets), it’s just old and funky coming from NZXT.
What I like... the cable management, there's space behind the tray and a ton tie-wrap points, every case should be like that today. While amazingly they gave it standard screw held PCI slot brackets, not the knock-out kind.
^ Agree, I have sheets of black plastic *plate* that I cut fan grill covers out of to block off excessive holes on cases, though a painted piece of cardboard would do the trick too.
Sometimes I wonder if they do it to shave a few cents off the price of a case by reclaiming the metal they stamp out.
Check the History there's more from others.
