Yes, I bought a pair of sunglasses on here for about $80. They were not polarized. They did brag to fully protect from UV sunrays. However, in the US, sunglasses by law must provide provide UV protection. They are well made and I have not lost them yet but $80 on sale? The link above links to a 60 Minutes episode which goes a long way in explaining the high price of "eyewear."
Eyewear is no different than blue jeans, you can spend a fortune or spend less than $25.
