    i believe that 10 years ago there was no such thing as 2gb, for the common household computer at least.

    I think I have one of these and I had to use super glue to repair it. other than that is was fine for about a year worth of use. Now it is lost.

    I've got a 2GB Sony Microvault - works great. I use it in the USB port on my car stereo -- the microvault stick is quite small - just like this one, and so when the truck bounces, there is very little weight hanging out of the USB port to damage it.

    Does anyone know where I can buy 512MB or 1GB flavors of these ultrathin USB sticks? 2GB might be the smaller(est) of these now made, but 2GB is a bit large for my needs...

    ....'kay, I froogled microvault and there's a whole bunch more vendors than 3 months ago. The Egg has 1GB vaults...
