Hmmm, I thought we were trying to get away from fossil fuel driven electronics.
I remember the first computer I own had 2 GB of hard drive space and I thought it was awesome.
#2 - 2GB? My first computer did not have a hard drive but booted the operating system from a floppy. Then I had a computer with a 40 MB hard drive.
Cheap but how fast is it?
^ Not as slow as some, but still in the slow category.
Atto benchmark, 32MB length,
Peak write 4.6 MB/s
Peak read 18 MB/s
The write speed is about half of that on an OCZ Rally 2. Read speed is a little more than half but that mostly because USB2 bottlenecks Rally 2 read speed. However these speeds are common for the cheapest modern flash thumbdrives, to get one faster costs a bit more even though they still use MLC flash chips... except that we might see some discounted due to black friday or christmas sales.
looks like a copper top battery
