    captH, yeah - but those deals don't come around very often. It's an ok deal, if you want 8Gigs.

    Where have all the good flash drive deals gone?

    This isn't bad if you need it but $1 a gig was awesome.

    I bought their 8 gig. for $7.99 (Newegg, I think) earlier this year. Works well.
    Agree that there is significant inflation underway in the prices for consumer electronics. I guess weaker vendors were forced out of business and the survivors are taking advantage of their stronger positions. Competition = good. Monopolies = bad. Or something like that.

    not a deal. but then again. its not that the price of the items is staying high, its just that the price of the $$ is falling. So it takes more $$ to buy the same item now. Thank the FED for that one!
