Meritline has the OCZ Agility 2 60GB OCZSSD2-2AGTE60G 2.5" SATA II SSD for $116 - $16 off with coupon code MLC170323022820NL1 - $20 rebate [Exp 3/2] = $80 with free shipping. Features a fast read speed of 285 MB/sec and a write speed of 275 MB/sec. Supports TRIM.
Despite the fact that I hate rebates, this seems like a very good deal. May have to pick one up.
First 60GB+ SandForce drive for under $100 shipped to me (California tax). In for one.
I was debating this, check the reviews on Newegg, lots of DOA/problems after a short while.
I was wondering, can i install this on my Macbook 13.3?
I trust meritline for cheap crap that I receive in 3-6 weeks from "overseas". It'd have to be a really good deal for me to buy something that costs more than $10 from meritline. Anyone have good experience buying expensive items from them?
#4, mac just released TRIM support on their most recent OS version 17 Unless you have that, this drive will start fast but slow down afterwards.

Also, buy has the 128gig kingston SSD for $140 after rebate:

It isn't as fast due to a non-sandforce controller, but more than twice as large and still light years ahead of a 7200 HDD. Some ca$h back sites will also give 10% or 20% of buy.com right now.
wouldn't touch another kingston with a 10 foot pole
if you're gonna consider drives higher than $1/gig, you might as well get something decent. 120gig Vertex 2 was down to $170 AR. For $30 more than your Kinston, I can saturate SATA 3.0Gb/s
#5, this item ships from a stateside warehouse (read the description of this item on their website), not from overseas. A few years ago I bought from Meritline a nice USB 2.0/Firewire enclosure that was on sale for $30.00 including shipping (typical price was over $40.00 without shipping). Nice price and product, and the free shipping was also very good.
got 30gb kingston for $40 AR
My Agility 2 from Meritline ended up being based on a 64 Gbit die, so OCZ RMAed it for a 32 Gbit drive for free (see http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?85220-Updated-response-from-OCZ...regarding-25nm-OCZ-SSD-SandForce-driven-drives). Turns out I got upgraded to a Vertex 2 in the process. Not bad for $80 shipped after rebate.
