This is a great drive. Don't be fooled into the Agility 3 series which is hit or miss because of firmware/controller issues. The Agility 4 is worlds better.
does these agilities still use the slower asynch nand?

Agility 3 is fast, theoretical speed is valid when the drive is empty.. except async NAND slows down dramatically after its filled up.
