Granted, it's got an overall 4-egg review average, but as I recently had a similar experience with an OCZ power supply, I believe I'll steer clear of this "deal".

So the Sony burner and the GC add up to about $35 in value. That makes this a $15 ps. Still not worth taking a chance?

4/5 eggs over 656 reviews. Don't see the problem, with that many reviews you're bound to see a few bad ones. Seems like a good deal if you need both a burner and $15 towards another order. With memory prices also low right now, it doesn't get much cheaper to build a midgrade system.

I'm in for one. I need a new DVD drive. Decent PSU. I will definitely use the gift card. Not a bad deal at all.

I have purchase alot of PSU last year, About, OCZ thier products is not bad at all, Runs all my Phemon II 4x perfectly. I own 4 OCZ modular and 3 standard OCZ PSU. one 700watts 2 600watts, 2 500watts and 2 400watts. None of my OCZ have any problems at all, And all the others cheapest no name brands PSU also, I personally like the OCZ 500watts modular PSU better than the rest, Its so silent..

I'am sure many of you can spot a deal. and knows what a deal.. This is a deal. I just score one myself. Althought!. I don't need another power supply or dvd burner. I still have a half a case of burners from last year. 35 bucks A/R with gift card is no brainer..

Checked this deal on Newegg on 1 /14 and 1/15 and there is no mention of gift card as part of this deal. Contacted Newegg and they said if it is not listed it won't be included in the purchase as all combo deals are controlled by the manufacturer. How did others get this option?

This is good deal, but I do so dislike MIRs.
