Why is it that as RAM, HDDs and Optical drives get so cheap, the motherboard prices rise so much? Also different this year- no FAR or dirt cheap deals on PSUs or cases to speak of. We need the perfect storm to be able to beat the Dells by building our own.

Good observations #1, likewise, why on earth is it that every RAM deal I see has a jacka$$ed rebate attached to them? I will not be lured into deals with potentially useless rebates!

For anyone who cares, SLI is just a name. A good amount of memory lets you use the features which is the same for Crossfire: just EPP profiles.

Not a bad price though if you need it.
