I'm sorry, but this deal is sick. It's like they're giving it away. How much does it cost to make these? At this price, they might be paying us to buy them!? Smile

    DDR2 800 CAS 4 for $30 - you can't beat it!

This is the lowest price I've seen for a 2GB stick.

Here's a link to OCZ's page about this memory:

    http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr2_pc2_6400_platinum_revisio2dual_channel

They spec it at 1.9V to 2.1V. That's too much voltage requirement for my motherboard (Asus M2N-E only goes to 1.95V). Wish there were some deals on some low voltage PC2-6400 memory with good timings.

This is a good price but you have to deal with 2 rebates. I hate rebates.

I've heard reviews say that is might not work properly with certain MOBOs, but if it does work, then it is a great deal. It is the lowest I've seen DDR2 800 RAM with CL4.

Hmm. jwahooo's insults seem targeted. Maybe kotackchi is sleeping with jwahooo's mom and jwahooo is just acting out?

reason for all these price drops is because ddr3 is about to hit the scene pretty soon, and ddr4 is already in the works, along with xdr from rambus.

#13: no, the reason for all these price drops is simply oversupply. Many memory companies built more factories and made more RAM chips in anticipation of everyone buying more RAM so Vista could run at a reasonable speed. However, almost no one bought Vista, so people didn't need more RAM. High supply with constant demand = low price.

It's really amazing how low these prices have gotten. In fact, since Frys.com has this same ram on sale for $30, you can get one dual channel kit from ClubIT and one dual channel kit from Frys.com, and you'll have 4 x 1GB matching sticks of RAM. That's 4GB for only $60! Simply amazing.

Actually, this RAM had free shipping earlier this morning, so you could have gotten it for $25 shipped, AR. I got it for that price.

excellent deal, pretty much the same deal from fry.com yesterday. Get the fry's one if you want to deal with 1 less/$15 rebate.
