Bah, rebates suck. I think we need a separate forum for deals that require rebates.

still a nice price with the rebate and before, The Rev. 2 is better though I don't think fry's carry them I can be wrong. I would buy these if I didn't pay 110 for my 2gig 4 months ago.

#1 .. I agree with you. I just bought a pair from Fry's at a higher price, but still relatively low. But now ... it has gotten lower.

Hey! I just bought it yesterday at Frys $36 after rebate. It's getting lower and lower, and at this rate, it would be free by Christmas time.

It can't get much lower... can it?

I don't need this RAM just yet, but seriously, cheaper than $29.99 shipped A/R? Even the $65 price isn't bad...

Most RAM is non-ECC, and a CAS of 4 ain't bad, especially for the price. Not sure how the other timings stack up.

#11 I bet more ram is better than a smaller amount of faster ram.

Yeah, I was just responding to what #6 said. For sure, 2GB at CAS 5 is definitely better than 1GB at CAS 4, for example. Just wondering how the other timings stack up with other 2x1GB kits.

Rebate request must be postmarked within 14 days of purchase date (including weekends), so you basically get about a week to get your act together and get your documentation in the mail once you receive it... provided that there are no delays with shipping from Fry's. Rebates suck.

#4, these ARE the rev. 2. different serial numbers because these are frys, but the specs are the exact same. says the guys at OCZ.

Great deal, although you'd better get the rebate in the mail asap. I bought 2 GB of OCZ from a local Fry's earlier this year, and I received the rebate. As for 2GB, it's pretty sweet, and Corsair and OCZ are the best. After I upgraded one machine to 2GB, games and my video editing software run smooth as silk.
