these have really come down in price lately. I updated 2 years ago and paid about 100 bucks
Yeah, me too
nice brand, nice specs. great price, too much of a rebate
so which is better, XMS or Platinum? Say like the one on sale ben posted couple days ago.
score! time to get some of these for my aging pc. Though on second though, i might just wait till black friday when theyll be much cheaper.
Good deal!
Their rebate is reliable to me. I got every one I sent in.
This is another good deal on memory. OCZ is a good brand and newegg is always great. I hate rebates but newegg is pretty good about getting them back to you.
wow, there are so many ddr2 deals. Grab them while you can.
I've seen it as low as $35 AR at Fry's, but I'm not sold on OCZ because of the voltage requirements. Generates too much heat when I pump the extra power into it.
bought this last week through Fry's (where it came to $30 after rebate) -- installed without a hitch, no errors in testing... runs cool
when I say it runs cool, I should add that I'm underclocking it (I have it paired with two sticks of slower RAM and my DELL has a crappy-ass BIOS)
speed isn't the best, but its a good deal overall
this same RAM has been on sale for $30 at Frys and ClubIT recently. So, if you got any two of these sales, then you have two matched pairs of RAM, that can probably run in dual channel mode. 4GB of PC2 6400 44415 RAM for $60 to $70, simply amazing.
Good deal runs cool great for your new build for the kids.
i got a pair of these for $30AR last week. working good so far & matches the silver/chrome on everything else... a good deal as long as they pay off!
$40 is a good price for CAS4 PC-6400. Just remember that OCZ is very picky about their MIRs. Make sure E V E R Y T H I N G in the MIR is 100% correct, filled in, and legible or you can kiss the MIR goodbye.
