It's a different connection than SATA. This uses the PCIE 4x slot. Most newer computers have them but I always find the video card gets in the way. Anyway, it hits much higher speeds than most of the newer SATA drives and gives an overall cleaner design to a case.
Reviews are mixed but few negatives about outright failure.

Check OCZ FORUMS on issues with this before you plunk down the money
Matters what you want. If you ahve a system made for speed, this thing will be great. But if you have some bargin crap pc, this is not for you!

This is the future of hard drives but I wouldn't touch one from this company.
