Get the GameXstream, not Stealthxstream. The GameXstream has better parts and runs 80% efficient or better at full load and higher temps. The 700 watt GameXStream version is on newegg for $65 AR, I got it at zipzoom the other day for $55 AR but they are sold out.
http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=333 read up. GameXstream.
A solid power supply considered a tier 2 supply, tier 1 supplies cost alot more $$$.
The StealthXstream it's considered a tier 3 supply.
yes I know I have to much time on my hands, but it makes a difference, just like the Sapphire 4870 1 gig I bought for $210 5 days ago, I always get the best bang for the buck available.
Either spend $1000-1200 on a PC and get the best bang for the buck quad core Q6600 with 4 gigs of ram and 4 raid 250gb sata drives with an ATI 4870 1gig, 22" Samsung 2ms, and a good power supply.
Or Spend $5000 on the top of the line I7 quad core with everything and dual GPU video cards and such and only get a small increase in overall usable perfomance.
I agree with MegaViper.
Bought the Stealthxstream 600W a few months ago. It died after 3 weeks. Dead! Newegg will not accept returns if the item has a rebate and the UPC is missing from the packaging, so I had to return it to OCZ. No problems at all and they replaced it with a GameXstream 600W. Been running flawlessly ever since.
Get corsair, even the 400 watts is enough for most people. nice and stable, goes on sale $25 once in a while
#3, I don't think you understand "bang for the buck". You're simply overpaying for stuff that's overkill.
Not when I sold my 8800GT for $100 and my old coolermaster 650w power supply for $50 to a buddy, LOL. no overkill just best bang for the buck.
and when I bought the quad core I sold my Opteron 165 and DFI Lanparty for $200 on ebay. Just a small upgrade price to bring it up to par before the old parts are worthless. Now I'm like at a wall, they are so fast and cheap now it's hard to upgrade anything.
MegaViper, you have exceeded the maximum amount of replies per post. -- the management

Decent power supply with pretty good rating from Newegg users. OCZ has a pretty reliable rebate program unlike other power supply makers.
#3 you built all that with a $210 power supply for $1200???
read the first post read noone ever really thinks anymore, the power supply 700watt is $65 a much better supply. made by FSP for OCZ was my point. Protect your investment.
The ATI 4870 1gig was $210. And yes the entire system has less then $1200, Q6600 quad core, Abit IP35 pro motherboard, 4 gigs Gskill DDr800, Ati 1gig 4870 video, 4 WD 250GB SATA drives in raid 0 (surplus computers $30 each free ship. out of stock I think now). and a Samsung 226BW monitor 2ms refresh G to G.
Add the parts up, $180 for box processor, $40 for ram, $250 for monitor, $30 each (4) 250gb drives, motheroboard $150, server case $40, power supply $55. Logitech mx518 mouse $30, keyboard $20. DVD burner $25. Lexmark all in one printer $50.
Masscool CPU cooler $25. Oced to 3 gig rock solid and cool. $985 everything.
Hey FREE TRIBES 2 game it's old but still functional. It's not Crysis or Far Cry 2 but still fun to play capture the flag and FREE for old systems it works. Complain about that.
