This is a good power supply for the price. It's been on sale for half this price at newegg at times, but lately, this is the best low cost power supply deal.

Read the customer reviews on Newegg.

According to them, your chances of EVER seeing a rebate from OCZ are close to zero.

And even if you do, it's a prepaid Visa card, not a check. And it's web based, so you have to fill it out online, then print it, then mail it in. You have a total of 21 days between the order date and the date they receive it.

Could it POSSIBLY be any more obtuse? I think not.

If you need this supply, and you don't need the $20 rebate, go for it. Just be aware it's likely you'll never see that $20.

OCZ MAKES THE BEST PRODUCTS EVER!

If you don't get your rebate from OCZ it is because you also own an ATI product.

OCZ is wise enough not to reward ignorant ATI owners with a rebate. If you own an ATI product, throw it in the trash and OCZ will happily give you your rebate.

#7, it's not a big deal. You manage to come here and type words right, so go to their 'site and type words, print it, mail it. Oh, a prepaid visa is more convenient than a check. How is 21 days anything of concern? Newegg generally gets products to customers in 3 business days so you've got over 2 weeks to plug the thing into a system to be sure it works before sending off for the rebate.

The point is, most people who are satisfied don't even leave a review while most who aren't do. Even then, 142 people out of 266 gave it 5 stars so it seems most did get their rebate. It's funny though when I read things like "if you send the rebate after the time period you will be denied" as if that is a con, as if all rebates aren't like that.

Maybe you will be denied, there is a small chance of false denial with any rebate house but simply posting about it in OCZ's forum or emailing them will get someone onto the case.

So basically it's not likely you'll never see that $20. What does it take to go to their website and post an inquiry anyway, 3 minutes? Maybe 4 if you aren't registered in their forum yet.
