I need one of these but I'll wait for CompuWiz17 to weigh in first.

Read all of the reviews on NewEgg. CompWhack is just one person with his own agenda.

#3, CumQueen17's only agenda here is informing the people of Ben's.

These OCZ SealthXStream/GameXStream power supplies are somewhat of an unknown. All of the reviews(look on hardocp.com and jonnyguru.com) of these power supplies have found that the ripple on these exceeds ATX specs, and in some cases, these power supplies can't even put out more than 85% of the watts they're rated for.

However, OCZ claims that they had FSP(the manufacturer) fix this problem about 3 months ago. There are no reviews that confirm or deny if this is actually the case.

So, if this has been fixed, it's probably a good power supply. If it hasn't then it's known to have excessive ripple over ATX specs.

I'd just order the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750watt power supply that's currently on sale for $65 at microcenter and zipzoomfly. That one is well documented to be a very nice power supply.

#3: the power supply user reviews on newegg are far from a definitive source. Even if this power supply destroyed someone's motherboard, they'd probably blame the failure on the motherboard. Most people do not have any way of checking to see if there is ripple exceeding the ATX specs on their power supply. Plus, very few people are loading their power supplies up to anywhere near the maximum wattage they're rated for.

Nicely plagiarized, #5. Your copy and pasting skills are almost Jedi-like, now. *smirk*

#6, does that mean CumLeech17 can now post about power supplies just by using his mind? His powers do seem to have gotten much better over the last few months.
