Buy.com has the OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) for $266 with free shipping. Features read speeds of up to 550 MB/s and write speeds of up to 500 MB/s.
Since it just recently came out, it's a little expensive, and there's no information on long-term reliability. But there's no reason to think that it won't be reliable, and the price will drop. Over time SSD's are getting better and cheaper.
Dam, thats fast, if they are telling the truth!
Damn, that's fast, and expensive yet again.
The Vertex 3 can hit those numbers (which represent maximum sequential speed) under the right conditions (using a SATA III interface), see www.hothardware.com/Reviews/OCZ-Vertex-3-SandForce-SF2000-Based-SSD-Preview/?page=4
