yeawn, not a deal!
This camera does not have optical image stabilization.
It's not good at low light photos, pictures tend to have a noticeable amount of noise(even at low ISO), and image quality is below average. Additionally, it has a noticeably long delay between shots.
If you are looking for a good 10 megapixel camera at a nice price, I'd recommend the Canon PowerShot A1000.
It has 4x optical zoom, image stabilization, excellent picture quality, and it uses standard AA batteries. Lately Newegg has been running combo deals where when you buy that camera, you get a camera bag and 4GB SD card for free.
The PowerShot A1000 supports running the CHDK firmware, which allows you to unlock extra features, like a live histogram, optical zoom while taking a video, RAW format photos, and many other things that are not normally available on point-and-shoot cameras.
thanks, #2!!! can you provide the link where you copied and pasted that review? thanks in advance!
I've just checked and CompWiz17's IP address resolves to the marketing department of Canon's A1000 product line. He is being paid to spam his copy and pasted plagiarized comments about the substandard A1000 in every camera thread on the internet.
#4:
apparently, I work for pretty much every computer and electronics related company. To recap:
That's because you're not a moderator. Duh!
Now, stop making a fool of yourself, and get back to shilling for all these companies that you just listed who are paying you $0.25 per spam, copy and pasted, plagiarized post. *smirk*
it seems that you've accused me of working at more companies that can fit in one post here. here's a few more:
#6: you are not a moderator. Ben does not allow anyone other than himself or the people he works directly with to moderate. You'll note that all of the moderator accounts have a username of "ben".
It would be really easy for you to prove me wrong, of course. Just delete one of my posts here. If you were a moderator, it would be easy for you to delete, say, the first post I made up top. You seem to take offense to it, so go ahead delete it.
You are not a moderator, just a troll who enjoys posting a lot.
#8, I cannot delete one of your posts for merely "offending" me. That is against our moderator rules. Now, if you make a post that breaks forum rules, then I will delete it, or I will Oink you... depending on how benevolent I feel. *smirk*
For Pete's sake, #7. With all of those jobs you should be able to afford to pay full price for stuff!
#8, what exactly are these rules you speak of? If I tell everyone that your mum rims bulls, is that against the rules?
I hear that FamilyGuy can get you two a great rate on a hotel room. Tell him I sent you so I can get my referal bonus of knock-off Cuban cigars and Tahitian whores.

sure, bensbargains is pretty lax about allowing trolls to run wild, but somehow I doubt that they'd let the trolls be moderators.
So, M0f0, you're saying that if I point out a user who has been blatantly breaking the rules, you'll either delete their offending posts, or "oink" them?
#12, I am not a troll. You are. We have established this a million times, already.
As to your second statement, no, I am challenging you to make a post that breaks the rules... at which point I will either ban you, or Oink you. *smirk*
Did you two get that room yet? #12, he cannot effectively break the rules until you tell him what the rules are. As I tried to point out earlier, he can neither break nor plagiarize them until you 1st post them. Apparently, rule #1 is that every ID who knows you're an rodeo cowboy is also bacon. It must frustrate you greatly to live in a world populated almost exlusively by nuisances. Forgetting my password has actually turned out to be somewhat amusing.

Well said, #15
