This has to be the SLOWEST satelite locking GPS made. Other than that it ok. Mine takes 3-4 minutes to find satelites. My Magellan is locked in about < 1 minute.

you must have the old version, the newer software lock in just fine except for occasional messed up.

Actually the satelites are locked in but the software just doesn't recognize it or do more computation. Only 3 satelites are require for 2d lock in and the few times that I don't have a lock there are more 5 satelites registered.
