Slow to acquire satelites. Slow sometimes with menu choices. Other than those it works fine.

Use a $25 coupon from ebay and get it for $55. Well worth that money. The biggest problem I have with it is the short battery life. Charge it up, keep it turned it off, and it will be dead in just one day.

The V7 NAV740 for $90 with no rebate is a much, much better deal. http://bensbargains.net/deal/96984/

The NAV740 is built better, uses a faster processor, is more easily hacked - so easy anyone can do it, has better navigation software (iGO), brighter screen, better battery life, you don't void the warranty by accessing the SD card, accepts SDHC, etc, etc.

All I had to do to run the latest version of iGO on the NAV740 was put the software on the SD card and edit one line of a file on the SD card - it required a lot more to do the same on my Omnitech.

    It's a Pharos 250 at a bargain price.

Not exactly #4. From an internal hardware perspective it may the same as a Pharos 250 but externally it isn't the same and it doesn't run the Pharos Ostea software, which is pretty crap. This baby comes with Destinator v8 which is basic but good.
