Signed up also for free last time and haven't used it. Oh they did send a free coupon for a Domino's Artisan pizza. Good thing it was free because it was awful.
Good to have and you can cancel the membership the next year so that you don't have to pay the annual fee
I tried to sign up the first time around and it said that I missed out but I put my e-mail in to receive updates. A couple of days later I got an e-mail saying they were offering the deal again. But like #3 said, it only applies to certain items. If it is a bigger (heavier) item, forget about it...
Eh, doesn't sound like this is worth it. I use amazon with prime and love it. I got a 40 lb. bag of dog food delivered two weeks ago with free two day shipping. Can't beat that!
I got in on this a few weeks ago and have used it twice so far. But in both cases, shipping was free anyway (including one place that already had 2 day shipping for free), so the shoprunner only got me my stuff quicker (2 day was upgraded to overnight) and I got more proactive communication about the delivery. All of the coupons and deals that I have seen them post are available to anybody anyway.
On one of the deliveries, I was sitting at my computer and I got an email from shoprunner that the package had been delivered. Nobody had knocked on the door or rung the door bell, but sure enough, the package was there. UPS is so lazy.
