    Apparently steel. One reviewer stated that the one he rec'd was not perfed like the one in the picture on Wallyworld's website.

    Silver is not a good color for a pizza pan as it reflects heat.

    The darker the color, the more it absorbs heat and the easier it is to brown your crust.

    For a commercial oven, color isn't a big issue; but for the home chef, you want a dark pan.

    I get the feeling that dark or not, it's going to heat up in an oven unless you don't turn the oven on... unless it's a solar powered oven.

    LOL! You're telling me that in a 400-degree oven a silver pan will be something LESS than 400 degrees?? What -. a black pan will somehow be MORE than 400 degrees??
