JR.com has the Onkyo HT-RC160 7.2-Channel Home Theater Receiver for $350 with free shipping. Features a power rating of 80 Watts per channel, 5 HDMI inputs, 720p/1080i video upconversion, dual sub support, and Dolby/DTS decoders.
Upconverts your Wii (or any other video input) to 1080i. Great deal, previous best was $379 (free ship) at Newegg and Amazon. Compares to the Denon AVR-790/1910, but for $50 to $100 more. Denons have better video processing and Audessey applications, but the Onky has more HDMI inputs and HD radio.
who is still buying this equipment. I stooped in the early 90s
People with more than 3 brain cells, stoop-id.
5x HDMI inputs = win
mostly people who are buying latest TVs (LCDs, plasmas) as they are becoming more affordable and want a home theater as well...
