    mostly people who are buying latest TVs (LCDs, plasmas) as they are becoming more affordable and want a home theater as well...

    Upconverts your Wii (or any other video input) to 1080i. Great deal, previous best was $379 (free ship) at Newegg and Amazon. Compares to the Denon AVR-790/1910, but for $50 to $100 more. Denons have better video processing and Audessey applications, but the Onky has more HDMI inputs and HD radio.

    Very unimpressed with my Onkyo 7.1HT. It is an older version though.

    upconversion is a scam folks, realize it. I do like the HDMI capability though.
