I was in their store last night picking up the Denon 7.1 system for $450 and also listened to this Onkyo system. They both sounded excellent, if you don't need 7.1 or hdmi, this is a steal of a deal.
No HDMI, it's a no-no these days. The Sony HTD-DW995 is a better alternative, although at $70 more. I'll wait for a deal on the SR605.
Seems pretty good, but since sound systems are probably going to last you a lot longer than you video system you might want to make sure it has some serious future compatibility like HD DTS HDMI and 7.1 abilities. This is still probably a lot better than all those dvd+surround sound deals I've seen today.
