I am thinking to get a Harman Kardon AVR-145 receiver, and hook up a set of JBL SCS 145.5S speakers to it for a budget home theater setup. It came down to around $300, but this Onkyo set is even cheaper. Should I buy this set instead? Any onwer out there? How do they compare?
Yes, you should buy. Why? Because I said so.
#1, you should always listen to a system before buying it. Otherwise make sure the store has a good return policy.
I do not own this system. I do however own two Onkyo systems and like both of them quite a bit. One is an older HT in a box 6.1, similar to this one that I got for $260 referbished through Onkyo. I recently picked up a TX-SR-604 7.1 receiver and like it a lot.
I sent this deal to two friends who are in the market for a HT system.
Thanks for the suggestions, looks like this Onkyo is one to go for. I've listened to Onkyo system before and liked it a lot, but I haven't really tried to listen to Karman nor JBL. Just heard from people saying that they're good.
has anyone gotten this system and if so do you like it
has anyone ever asked the same question right after someone else?
