"eCost + refurbished" adds up to something worse than the sum of its parts.
Yeah. This is a fantastic receiver (as long as you keep it ventilated well), but getting a refurb one from eCost to save $50 is asking for pain. That's assuming they even send you all the pieces.
You'll be lucky if the "refurb" works. They routinely send out junk and then refuse RMA's. I won a dispute I filed against them with Visa, and then eCost sent me an invoice for the amount Visa took from them and gave back to me. Great bunch of people I tell you.
