6ave is also doing a "name your own price" promo and I imagine they'd accept less than this. It's not a particularly good deal price-wise.
It's actually a pretty solid deal price-wise as it retails for $400-$420+ consistently.
Look at Ben's own history. This thing sells for $350 all day long.
This is high. I got one for under $300 back around Halloween.
I just bought one about a week ago from TigerDirect and paid 399+S/H because I couldn't find the cheaper deals at that time. It's a great received. If you can get it for less than $400, go for it!
How do you get that "name your own price" thing?
Clicking the giant banner on their home page would probably be a good place to start.
this is a decent deal on one of the nicer entry level yet full featured HDMI switching recievers with 7.1 TrueHD out there... I am thinking about getting one to replace my yamaha rxv-1400..
I got one around $300, but I'm very dissappointed. There are lots of great features, but the sound feels very week. I had a Sony receiver that I replaced with this, and I have a hard time believing this is truly high current since the Sony was clearer at high volumes and had a significant amount more punch to the sound. It was the Sony str-db930, which was a solid receiver, but given Sony's reputation and Onkyo's reputation I am surprised that the superiority of the Sony is so clear.
