I've been pricing these things for about a month now. This is the best price I've seen on this machine. This also seems to be the best unit in its price range.

just noticed it's a CrapUSA no-deal. TigerDirect bought CompUSA the web site when they went out of business. Crap upon crap.

#2, these were 386 on Amazon 2 weeks ago (price fluctuates almost daily). Assuming 5% tax, this comes out to almost 393.

I do not have a PayPal account. Someone used my credit card info to open a PayPal account and then bought something using that PayPal account. When calling PayPal I could get nowhere without knowing that PayPal account number. I view PayPal like a pawn shop, they don't steal but they participate in the thief's business chain.

Blasted Tax. Thanks Amazon. Ok, so this is the best deal if you ignore tax. If you don't ignore tax... then it was a bit cheaper on amazon a while back. But I still maintain this is the best unit at its price point.

This does not have 4 hdmi ins. It has 3 hdmi inputs and 1 hdmi output.

Still, Onkyo receivers are some of the best future proof receivers on the market. This is a decent deal but I would highly recommend getting their 7XX series as its worth the price, its still the cheapest in class with the best options and still has the amazing 3 hdmi inputs.

#10 everybody said the same thing about this model when it was "new" and people were shopping for the 5xx series. Just wait a few more months and you could get xxx for $xxx. There will always be something newer and better out there, and according to your theory, nobody would buy anything b/c they would be waiting for the next best thing. By the time that next best thing came out, there would be a newer next best thing and so on. If this model fits what you've been looking for, buy it. 3 HDMI + Onkyo Amp for under $400? Good deal in my opinion.
