      nice.. 4 inputs.. have they slimmed down the actual receiver at all? the 605 barely even fits in my stand

      The 606 is the new model for the 605. The people waiting for the 806 want a few more options that the 606 doesn't offer (the 805 does, but they are witing for the new model the 806).

      The joker waiting for the 607 is an rodeo cowboy.

      605 and 606 have essentially identical dimensions.

      Had an Onkyo once. Great surround sound receiver, but the musicality was lacking... it just came off as somewhat "cold". I currently have a Harmon Kardon AVR which really sounds great, much better for music, but it doesn't have all the video processing options I need. I'm figuring to try the Denon next. When is Ben going to post a deal for the Denon 5308ci?
