$705 for a Refurb?
No way.
You can buy a new 720p for less, have just as good a picture and not be the proud owner of something someone else rejected for who knows why...
Also, "refurb" is notorious for meaning "we put it back in the box and put fresh tape on it"...
Probably the best and worst experience I've had with refurbs was Harman Kardon. Took them 2 replacement receivers to get the refurb right - and in the end, they shipped me a brand new receiver of the same model lineup.
Knarly's right though - who refurb'd it? Manufacturer? I'd be googling like hell to see how these refurbs hold up. And with brand new 1080p projectors in the 1000$ range (DLP), just spend the extra few hundred for a brand new one.
If this was $500 I'd be all over it.
