I don't know if $18 is a good deal, but I have one of these things and its pretty pimp. Have you ever wondered how many watts your PC REALLY uses? It says a 500w power supply, how much are you using? how much power does each monitor use? Well I tested it with mine. Pretty interesting. I even plugged in my free standing A/C unit and my 50" plasma. Good 411 if you're curious who is the energy waster in your pad.
