if I use a 4 x 50watt after market headunit, do I need an additional amp to power these?

#3, do you say that because you only like 15" and up, or is it because these are 4 ohm and not 2 or 1? Is it the budget-minded small magnets or the sub-par construction? I got two "crunch" brand 10's in a bandpass box for free from a friend being driven by a bridged 4-ch 350W amp, and it does the job, but i'm looking to upgrade those 10's without breaking the bank, what would you recommend?
These will definetly do alot better of a job than the crunch subs you have.
