Not so impressed with the user images on Amazon.
@#1 So check the ones on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=fz35&w=all&s=int It's a capable camera - I got the predecessor for my father-in-law.
I agree with #2. For the money, there are very few cameras that can compete in thisbridge segement between P&Shoot and DSLRs. If you want very high IQ at very low lights and are willing to lug 8 puunds of DSLR and over $2000 in lenses, this is not the way to go. My experience is that about 1 of 3 people buying a DSLR truly learn to use it well - the rest just become DSLR snobs. That said, I wish it had the articulating LCD as the FZ50.
I liked the image quality on the Canon SX10/SX20 better.
This is the most bang for the buck available in a non-DSLR camera!
