+1, same here. the video is pretty great for a point and shoot. lacking a lot of manual settings, coming from my dslr, but for a point in shoot, its does a decent job. there are still settings that you can tweak, but not as many as the canon one. still very happy with the overall image/video and build quality. got mine for 249 at costco, but it also came with a nice case, 2gb sdhc, and 100 free costco photo prints.

Missed it by a week. I just got this last week for $225 after Bing cashback. I just checked amazon too last week but it was $245+). Pretty good deal. Beats eBay prices. Great camera. Easy to use. I don't need the manual setting anyway so ZS3 is great.

Got this for my wife. Added a 16GB memory card. She never deletes anything, so this way she can take a lot of pictures before I have to intervene. It is a wonderful camera, takes pictures in low light without a flash. She really likes the 12x zoom.

#4 is right, the ZS5 and ZS7 are coming out in March, they're essentially the ZS1 and ZS3 with an added GPS chip for geolocation, a really cool feature. It's worth waiting.

Nice camera and the price is right. Decent shots in low light and one of the few in this price range that allows zoom function while recording video.
