Reviews are 50/50. Braun is better.

The bad reviews are mostly from people who don't understand the use of a foil shaver. They don't realize you need to shave every day unless your beard grows really slow then if you skip a day or two then it's time to break out the regular razor to get your beard down to manageable length again.

Yes more expensive shavers work better, but this is a pretty good deal considering the foil and blade for most will cost more than $20. Consider it disposable, not something you'll use everyday for several years.

$20 is not a good price for these. I bought 5 of these with Newegg.com for $19 after local taxes + free shipping. I needed to use this shaver 2x/day due to my beard grows a bit quicker. Rating= okay for the average user. I throw them away after 3 months of usage due to the dull blade.

^ this is egg's new "deal" price, probably went up due to inflation like everything else will eventually, it could be an infinitely long wait to see it drop below $20 from 'egg and it seems to cost more everywhere else right now. With the cost of food & fuel up, and after the disaster(s) in Japan, I'm a bit surprised prices haven't gone up more than they have for other items.
