Kids: You'll eventually learn shaving with an electric razor will never be as close as a shave with a blade. If you'd like to skip that learning curve, just buy a bunch of disposable razors and be done with it.
#1, thats true. However, most ladies prefer men with a little stubble on the face. You also get to skip using shaving cream as well as the pain associated with using a razor to cut thick hairs (beard)which isnt very pleasant.

Actually shaving with an electric razor can be a closer shave... I learned that the hard and painful way the first time I tried my shaver lathered up with shave cream in the shower. The water and lather create a suction as the blade moves back and forth and pulls the hair and a tiny bit of skin in resulting in the hair cut further below the skin surface than if you had only soaked the beard with hot lather, and a mini dermabrasion that feels like wind burn for a couple days.
Dry shavering though, I can't even do it because my 4 o'clock shadow is back before lunch.

Agreed, electric is the way to go.
Good enough for a asian man!
