So many bad reviews. Too bad, I like the Panasonic phones I've had in the past.
I go with Ooma + Uniden
I have the KX-TG6073S Panasonic Set. Mine is the 5.8GHz version and has transformed into a total POS over the year or so that I've had it. When the battery eventually gives up I'm going to sh*t-can it, assuming I can tolerate it that long. Maybe the DECT 6.0 version is better but I'd doubt it.
What is it with cordless phones lately? I've tried Uniden, Panasonic, and GE and all of them are unusable after a single year or less because the batteries can't hold their charge.
Maybe its time to say bye bye to the land line...
FYI: Costco has this set for $49.99 ($69.00 - $20 instant savings) from 3/11 to 4/3 (from the Costco coupon book). Sorry if I ruin Ben's deal... but it may help other bargain fellas.
