It may just be me but it starting to seem that the more technology advanced, the dorker the stuff looks...

The Canon G12 have a significantly smaller sensor, which = worst image quality at any iso range. It cannot change lenses which means it's a lot less versatile, it have inferior movie mode to the GF2. So why would want the G12 over the GF2?
