Ahhhhh was $1300 at Fry's about 3 weeks ago they screwed around with me and put it on backorder. I saved $100 by cancelling. This is close enuf. I was wanting it sub-$1000 but I think this is gonna be the one. TY BENNIE.

Excellent Plasma screeen for the money. With the way prices are heading, we'll see this baby go for under 1 grand in the next 3 - 6 mths. Worth the wait.

Pretty sure this is the exact same model that Best Buy will have for $999 tomorrow morning if you're willing to get out and stand in line.

This is a great model. Panasonic makes great plasma tvs. Agree that if you wait you can get a better deal, but that's pretty obvious that eventually the price will drop (especially once christmas is over).

i agree. i have this model and the color and contrast is superb. the color saturation is deep and rich. the black comes out very nicely.

it makes a big difference when you view HD quality broadcasting and standard ED broadcasting. I watched the Lakers vs. Clippers on Fox Sports West where they didn't have HD and then afterwards changed channel to the same game on KTLA broadcasting in HD, and the clarity was like night and day.

ok thanks. I will consider that. But what time does best buy open 5 am? I don't know about that. I think I'd rather get my sleep and pay $200, after all I might not get the tv anyway if there are only 5? Plus they delivery it and set up for free with this deal.

Wow, I got this a few months ago when the best price I could find was $1700, delivered. HD is incredible on this set. Now if I can just find a remote that will handle my entire AV system, including Tivo, at the same time.

ok here is a strategy. Buy this now from c then wait in line at b if you get one at b.b (fat chance) cancel the order from C.City. Who's In?!

it would probably be better to wait for the price to drop in a few months. this tv price has been dropping for a while now. patience is key to saving money. of course better toys do come out as you're waiting.

Native Resolution 852x480 = non-hd or maybe it is but it ain't even 1080. I want at least that.

By the way, i just got back from waiting in line at office depot for the $799 haier 1080 hd plasma = gone. So I think I'll get this one. I went over to circut city across street and boy was that a zoo. No less than 2 hrs in lines I imagine. What a mess.
