I tried to put both 10% coupon and the $150 off code during the check out. It won't accept both. I can only put one of them but not both. Did any one else try it?

I did not order yet, but I put it in my cart and it showed up as $2250. e, I expect you don't need any coupon for the $150 off. I didn't go that far, but I assume you only need the 10% coupon once you get to the baconcode part. No?

It was posted earlier with $1875 as final price with stack coupons discount. I guess it must have changed.

Why don't you guys just wait for the LCD one? Plasma is so outdated... Smile

#5 Yeah, I was going to get the 50U model, then said "I'll just wait for the 60U to come out". At this rate, I'll spend 2025 for a TV in the year 2025.

Is there something coming out that explains the low price on this one? I can keep up with most things, but TV technology is never in my grasp.

      I think there is a 600U that's newer.

I much rather get the Samsung HL-R5678W 56" DLP HDTV for about the same price.

No, the 600U is just the "higher" model that has a few extra features and has a different case design. The 60U has everything you need though, namely 2 HDMI inputs. I believe the 600U has better built in speakers, PIP, and a PC input. One downside is that the 600U has a bulge on the bottom, right above the pedestal that makes it "thicker."

Both have the same 9th Generation Plasma Panel which is good for over 29 billion colors and a 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio.

I have the TH-50PX60U and it's awesome! No problems whatsover. The picture is very bright and clear, the blacks are very good, and best of all the price is very competitive.

The only downside to these Plasmas is that the case around the screen is not as fancy or upscale looking as some of the more expensive models (the old Panasonic Onyx) and other brands (Samsung).

I would highly recommend this for all of those looking for a plasma. I also have a 32" LCD (Panasonic) and it's no comparison to the plasma in terms of brightness. LCD (direct view), no matter how you slice it... well if you're not looking at it straight on, you don't get the full experience.

Plasma gets two thumbs up! LCD is good for a small room or smaller applications.

#1, in case you're still reading this, you have to order it through Ben's link to get the 10%. The code is automatically entered for you when you get that far. The $150 is already done when you put the TV in the cart. Guess I can move my 19" CRT into the bedroom now.
