I want a good TV for cable, I don't play video games or watch blu rays, however the TV will go in a small room where I will be about 8 feet from the TV. Will 1080p make a difference for cable HD broadcast?
I paid $730 for a 42" Panasonic plasma exactly 3 years ago. Very happy with my choice (though this is a different model #).
Have this in my office, certainly 1080 is better, but this unit works great for watching CNBC.
Price has been better, I paid around 410 three months ago.
