this is only marginally better than the Bravia 46" for 900 deal through bestbuy on 7/4
I don't know about that. This will beat the Sony for picture quality. Panasonic TVs have better reliability than Sony also.

only 2 more months til black friday. i say any tv deal right now isnt worth it. but it's a pretty good deal. i'm assuming for the price though that it's a 60hz tv?

Ugh...enough with the black friday nonsense. Retailers are doing anything and everything to get people to buy TODAY.
black friday sucks, waiting in line like a damn rooster.
I'll pay $50 dollars more for something so I dont have to wait in a BF line. Just not worth the time.
Add to that the fact that they might run out of them before you even get one.
