I picked this up on the 6ave deal a few weeks ago. Outstanding TV. There does seem to be a hint of a red and green push with some of the preset settings, but this is easily correctable with manual settings. check out avsforum for some excellent info on this set.

Panasonic and Samsung are the 2 top brands in HDTV. You can't go wrong with a Panasonic.

On top of that great price bing.com currently has 13% off at sears.com . You could combine fatbacon (5%) and bing. Sweetest of all, you could buy Sears egift cards in the amount of the TV (getting the bacon and bing cashback for them) and then use the giftcards to buy the TV, therefore getting bacon and bing cashback for the purchase of the TV as well. Lastly, the site currently says if you use your sears card you can get 8% off on electronics over $699.

Anyone know if buying egift cards with bing and then using those through bing to buy the tv would actually get you the 13% off on each purchase? That would be a sweet deal if so. The tv would run like $880 then.

Just wanted to report back. I picked up my TV today. I successfully bought the egift cards, got the cashback for those, then bought the TV with the giftcards and my Sears card to get the cashback and 10% off for Sears card. I had to wait until after I had picked up the TV to contact customer service and get the 10% off for using the Sears card.
