Amazing television. Own the 720P version which was about $1000 a few months ago. Is this the 2008 edition or 2007? I know the '08 version has "anti-glare". Only have XBOX 360 and digital cable so no need for 1080P for me... at the time the new model 1080P was around $1400-$1500.

A million to 1 contrast ratio? How do they come up with that stuff?

kind of a small thing but the model number is with a zero (0) and not an "o" (O).

Wait #7, don't rush with conclusions, # 6 forgot to mention that your annual salary will be 14 cents.

You suck. We were so close to #7 ending his life.
      Now you messed up everything.

#1 If a set could produce a pure black, the contrast ratio would be infinity and this spec would not matter anymore. That's what Pioneer is claiming for their new line.

What new Pioneer line? Pioneer announced a few months back they were getting out of Plasma and going LCD.

Pioneer's high end TVs are all hype. Don't fall for it.

FWIW, #12 is right, Panasonic is already manufacturing plasma panels for Pioneer, google it or see on any financial site under ticker MC couple months back.
