Awesome TV, 1080p at this size is pretty much a waste for most people, but nevertheless, an awesome set for a great price.

#2: so "most people" can't see 1080p in a 42" set? makes sense, but the price is very nice. might have to get my bride an early christmas present. i'm sure she'd love it.

Try to look at this TV in person. It has a really good picture. Since it's Plasma, you'll have to bear with the glare.

#8 have you looked at a Panasonic lately? The screens aren't glossy so you get glare.

Yes. Plamsa, unlike LCDs, can reliably produce deep, dark blacks.

I have this TV. It's amazing, and the anti-glare works amazingly well even in a sunny room.

I convinced my cousin to buy this same tv...Pre NFL Season, and lemme tell you, this screen is rockin...lcd is a good choice, but for those plasma lovers, you get the biggest bang for the buck.

#13 - The viewing angle is 160. Looks great from any normal viewing angle. This is an advantage most plasmas have over LCDs.

Good price, but plamsa's not too good in a bright sunny room. Not bright enough.

I've hated the PreBF/BF/PostBF deals posted so far... but this one is really close to home for me... very tempting.

Have they done anything about the burn in you can get with plasma? What does 1,000,000/1 mean?
