Althought a decent price, just wait 4 more days until Black Friday. You can go to the brick and mortar stores and pick up TV's a other brands for the same or cheaper price.

plasma tend to have a large ratio but doesn't mean much really for most people, i think most of the human eyes can't even distinguish anything higher than 5000...but still this is a great tv for the price

Very good set for the money. Panasonic seems to make solid sets that are not junk.

Panasonic makes the best plasmas. For $800 this is an awesome deal.

while burn in issues havent been solved, they have been greatly reduced. Primitive Plasmas cursed the rest of the generations of plasmas because people dont do enough homework. Also, #25 you are incorrect in thinking that Panasonic makes "the best" Plasmas...they actually make the second best, but for their price...they cant be beat.

I absolutely love this TV. I got it a week ago at sears during the 3 hour F&F sale along with a Sammy blu-ray, and IronMan looks terrific!

      BUY THIS TV! Very Happy

All of the issues of Plasma like burn-in have been a thing of the past for years. The only issue that really still exists is that they do get very hot and I believe they use about twice the electricity of LCDs. However, they will cut your heat bill in the winter and the picture is far superior. They are much easier on the eyes too since they don't have that horrible backlight.

Wow great deal! I love my Aquos, but this would be a nice addition to the family room.

Not such a great deal after you get the electric bill. 573 whopping watts of power consumption. Compared to my HDTV CRT XBR910, this thing uses ~510 watts more.

#31 get out of fantasy land. Burn in is still aroundy. Now they call it image retention so they can say burn in is a thing of the past. I have seen tons of plasma screens with burn in.
