Walgreens has the Pandigital Novel 7" Color Multimedia eReader for $150 + $5 shipping = $155 shipped. Features touch screen control, 1GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, and rechargeable Li-ion battery.
Thanks for the review #1. 6 hour battery life doesn't sound too good to me and I'm not sold on having a color LCD vs. high resolution eInk display.
I bought the B&N Nook for the same price (well, $162 after tax was added) and very happy with it. The new lower priced $140 Kindle WiFi that's coming out might be a winner if you're willing to wait for it to be stocked and shipped to you instead of picking up a Nook in-store like I did.
Kindle doesn't run Android underneath, while Nook and Novel do, if that matters to you. Someday, I may want to hack my Nook to do other things, and having Android as its OS will make that easier (see nookdevs.com).

Kindle 2 beats the Nook in speed.
Kindle 3 will beat the Kindle 2 in speed.
I say wait for the Kindle 3. With Calibre, I have no need to look to Amazon to stock my Kindle with reading material.
Right now pulling up MIT Technology Review on Kindle (for free).
