For $90 I would GO for it - as this unit can be rooted very easily to make it more of as tablet than just a reader.
Do not count on receiving the rebate. Still waiting for my Dec 10 rebate. Keep calling and they keep stalling.
It will look like a tablet, but not work like one. The processor is slow, and the touchscreen is wildly inaccurate. Most of your time with it will be spend click, no CLICK, no scroll back here, no CLLLLIIIICCCCKKKK on the button, no not that button, no backspace, not "/" but two backspaces now, OK THREE BACKSPACES, kill me now.
Also, the battery lasts a few hours, whether it's on or not. Turning off the screen does nothing to extend this. If you lose the one holy power brick, you can recharge from USB. KIDDING!
