awesome. i have the 4gb kit[2x2gb], and this is really tempting..
but 8gb total would be more ideal than that of a 6gb total.
keep in mind, the timings come at stock 1.8 5-12, so if you want the 4 timings, you'll have to up the voltage to 2.2 i think.
can your OS use 8 gbs?
i'm using vista 64. MS messed up their implementation with the possibility of more than 4gb of ram for the 32 bit os. typical.
Au contraire. All 32 bit OSes have this limitation, thumbplum. Not just Windows.
oh mister high and mighty-truckload-wide-thumbplum #4, MS could have made vista their roadmap towards mainstream 64bit computing and bypassed the aging 32bit os all together, therefore removing this whole 4gb limit and moving forward with technology.
